Stuart Adam joins Asian American Federation of New York
Board of Directors


NEW YORK, July 11, 2006 � The Asian American Federation of New York (AAFNY) welcomed Stuart Adam to its Board of Directors on June 20th. Adam, a resident of Manhattan, joins the Federation�s 15 member team to better serve the Asian American community of New York City.

Adam�s professional career has been grounded within the financial sector since 1974. Adam, through his career, spent 15 years in Asia with Citigroup as Division Head and Managing Director of the Private Clients Group at Bankers Trust. He was Managing Director of Julius Baer Investment Advisory (1996-2001) and Senior Vice President and Head of Private Bank Americas for Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd., New York Bank (2001-2003).

Currently, Adam manages an international multi-family office representing family groups in Asia, Europe and the United States. He oversees investments in excess of USD 630 million as Manager, Adam & Partners LLC (2003 to Present).

Michelle Tong, the Federation�s Director of Donor Relations states �Stuart is a great addition to our board. His professional experience will help drive the Federation�s new strategic plan and his outspoken compassion for our community is contagious.�

Adam�s received his Masters in Management, Msc from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1991. He is also a participant of the Sloan Fellows Program.
