The Asian American Federation is also widely recognized for its role in the murder investigation of Luyen Phan Nguyen, a Vietnamese youth that was 1992 victim of hate crime. In addition, AAFF hosted the??em>Asian American Focus,?a cable TV program for over 15 years, sponsored by WLRN. The Asian American Federation of Florida is an educational and cultural resource organization for Florida's ethnic Asian communities. The Federation serves to assist its Asian organizational members in promoting and showcasing their arts and cultural tradition.
