2005 - 2007 Annual Report
In the past three years, the Federation achieved significant progress while overcoming notable challenges. We continued fulfilling our commitments to post-September 11th recovery and overall strengthening of the Asian American community, as well as conducted extensive strategic planning. While were constrained by a budget deficit in fiscal year 2005, we devoted much attention to regaining financial stability. We are pleased to report that the Federation has improved its financial picture, revitalized its team, and made major strides programmatically and organizationally. Read more... |
2003 - 2004 Annual Report
Two major themes defined the Asian American Federation�s work in the 2003-2004 fiscal years. First, the Federation, recognized the profound, long-term nature of post-September 11th needs, and expanded on initial results of our comprehensive September 11th Relief, Recovery and Rebuilding Initiative. Second, as New York City and the rest of our nation emerged from the shadow of September 11th, the Federation solidified key programs to serve the Asian American community for years to come. 2000 - 2003 Triennial Report
In 2000 to 2003, the Federation significantly broadened its scope of work, impact and reach to keep pace with the Asian community of New York�s burgeoning size, diversity and need. A focus included the Asian American Community Fund which distributed over $500,000 to member agencies and the launch of A New Heritage of Giving which facilitates the impact a donor�s gift has on its benefactors. 2000 Biennial Report
In 2000, the Federation celebrated its ten year anniversary. Federation accomplishments identified us as a significant resource within the community, allowing for us to dispel Model Minority Myths as well as to encourage the community. 60 community groups joined to form the Asian American Task Force on Census 2000 and the Federation was recognized by the U.S. Census Bureau as a designated national Census Information Center.
